What we do
How does Hard Money West protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How does Hard Money West collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • Give us information through email, over the phone or by other communication method.
  • Submit information through a form on our website, social media pages or through advertising campaigns.

We collect your personal information from other entities, such as credit bureaus or other companies, when permissable by law.

Why can’t I limit all sharing

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. Please see the Other important information section below for further explanation of rights that state law grants to you.

  • Hard Money West does not work with affiliates. We only share information with lenders upon completion of a loan application.

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Hard Money West will not share any information with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Hard Money West does not engage in joint marketing.

State laws may grant you additional rights beyond the GLBA. For example, in California the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) offers California consumers additional protections. Please see below.

Other important information

For residents of California:

Hard Money West does not share any of the personal information that we collect from you with any third parties unless legally permissible, e.g. when you have given us consent.

We will only share your information with outside lenders after you submit a loan application and only for the purpose of obtaining a mortgage at your request. We only share when absolutely necessary and in a manner consistent with current California law.
